A newlywed couple, Dan and Laura, arrive at Dan's isolated mansion, where he keeps a pet gorilla named Spanky. Laura, fascinated by the animal, gets close to Spanky's cage, but the gorilla grabs her wrist. Despite her initial fear, Laura calms the gorilla and releases herself. However, Spanky later escapes and Laura is left traumatized.
