Two drifters, Chris Foster and Bert Pickett, get into trouble in the border town of Adonde when Bert starts a brawl at a card game and punches the sheriff. After getting arrested, they're chained to a wooden post in the town square along with a town drunk and the notorious outlaw Lavalle, who's desperate to escape.
