Rumble on the Docks background

Rumble on the Docks

A 17-year-old Brooklyn native navigates the challenges of adolescence, caught between his traditional parents' expectations and the allure of a charismatic local gangster's world.

In the 1950s, a 17-year-old boy from Brooklyn is at odds with his father, a hardworking Polish immigrant, over his rebellious behavior and admiration for a local mob boss. The boy's father, who was crippled in a supposed accident, is determined to instill his values of hard work, respect, and family in his son. However, the son is drawn to the flashy lifestyle of the mob boss and becomes embroiled in a gang war. When he falls in love with a girl who tries to persuade him to leave his gang lifestyle, he must choose between his loyalty to his father and his desire for the mob boss's protection.
