Two Cheyenne chiefs, Yellow Wolf and his son Little Wolf, travel to meet with a US army commander, Captain George, to request aid for their starving tribe. However, Captain George is more concerned with his own needs and orders the Cheyenne to be relocated to a reservation in Oklahoma.
