Revolt at Fort Laramie background

Revolt at Fort Laramie

The fort's defenders are torn between Union and Confederate loyalties, but a far greater peril looms in the form of the war-hungry Sioux, who threaten to engulf them all.

As the Civil War looms, Fort Laramie faces a new threat: the Sioux Indians. When war is declared, the fort is torn apart by loyalty divisions between northerners and southerners. The commander and southern sympathizers abandon their posts, heading south through Sioux territory, only to be ambushed and left for dead. A desperate messenger returns to the fort with dire news, forcing the new northern commander to make a perilous decision.
