Flower Belle Lee, suspected of an affair with the Masked Bandit, is forced to flee Little Bend. On the train, she meets con artist Cuthbert J. Twillie and pretends to marry him to maintain a respectable image. Upon arrival in Greasewood City, Twillie is appointed sheriff by town boss Jeff Badger, with a hidden agenda.
