Ladies' Day background

Ladies' Day

A talented baseball pitcher's performance plummets whenever he becomes smitten, prompting his teammates to intervene and encourage him to focus on a single woman to regain his winning form.

Wacky Waters, a star baseball pitcher, is distracted from his game by his new love interest, Pepita Zorita. His teammates try to help him focus, but nothing works. The wives of the ballplayers concoct a plan to get rid of Pepita, which initially succeeds, but Pepita eventually escapes and returns to Wacky just as he's about to pitch in the World Series.
