Yes, My Darling Daughter

Ann Murray invites her acquaintance Titus Jaywood, a poet, to spend the weekend with her and her family in New Brighton, hoping to relax and possibly publish her stories. However, the weekend becomes chaotic with the arrival of her meddling mother and her sister-in-law, who is looking for her fourth husband. Meanwhile, Ann's daughter Ellen, a recent college graduate, is struggling with her relationship with her boyfriend Douglas, who is about to leave for two years to work in Belgium.
