Journey to Shiloh

During the Civil War, seven young Texans join General Hood's Texas regiment in Richmond, but their journey takes an unexpected turn when they arrive in Shiloh, Tennessee instead. Along the way, they witness racial prejudice and violence, including the lynching of runaway slaves. Initially filled with dreams of war glory, they soon realize that the harsh realities of war are incompatible with their core values as ordinary Texans. The battle of Shiloh serves as a poignant conclusion to their story.
