Wandering cowboys Jimmy and Pidge, sons of a sage, embark on a journey to round up wild Brahmas for rancher Cardigan. However, their efforts are met with bad results. Pidge becomes smitten with a guest, Marcia, at a neighboring dude ranch and takes a job there to be near her. Jimmy follows, intent on "saving" Pidge from trouble, leading to a comedic scheme where Jimmy blacks out the windows in the bunkhouse to make Pidge think it's still night and try to impress Marcia.
