Death Valley Rangers background

Death Valley Rangers

A series of stagecoach heists sparks a call for the Trail Blazers, a group of rugged plainsmen tasked with maintaining law and order in a remote Death Valley outpost.

In the movie, the Trail Blazers, a trio of cowboys consisting of Ken Maynard, Hoot Gibson, and Bob Steele, are hired to capture a gang of outlaws who have been stealing gold shipments in Death Valley. Upon arriving in town, they learn that Jim Kirk, a respected citizen, has opened a successful gold mine and that none of the stolen gold has ever been recovered. Bob Steele decides to go undercover by befriending an escaped convict, who introduces him as an outlaw, allowing Bob to infiltrate the gang and uncover their leader. However, things take a deadly turn when Bob's first assignment is to kill his own partners, Maynard and Gibson.
