Rocky faces a crisis as a gypsy moon, Posita, and a rival moon, Ophecius, are on a collision course. His archenemy, Cleolanta, imprisons Rocky and plans to destroy Posita, despite it being inhabited. However, Rocky finds an unlikely ally in Trinka, Atlasande's wife, who helps him escape and thwart Cleolanta's plan. With time running out, Posita's inhabitants are evacuated to its twin moon, Negato, while an armada of United World ships arrives to aid in the evacuation of Ophecius just before the collision occurs.

The movie is actually a compilation of three episodes from the TV series "Rocky Jones, Space Ranger" (1954),edited together and released as a feature-length film on video.
