A Chicago cop, still grieving the loss of his family, is forced to take a vacation with his brother and sister-in-law at a remote ski resort. While there, he connects with the resort's activities coordinator, but their romance is cut short when the resort is taken over by terrorists. Jack is the only one not taken hostage and must use his skills to uncover the terrorists' motives and free the hostages.
