A mentally ill man, George Jones, becomes convinced his wife and doctor are plotting against him, leading him to write a letter to the district attorney. After giving the letter to their postman, George confronts his wife, threatening her with a gun, and ultimately succumbs to his illness. His wife must now find a way to recover the incriminating letter.
