A mining engineer driven by vengeance and a sense of justice embarks on a perilous quest to track down the murderers of his brother and the father of a beautiful young girl.

A group of outlaws, led by Red, murder three prospectors and claim their mining rights. One of the victims was the brother of Joe Henderson, who sets out for revenge. After Lem discovers gold, he is severely injured and suffers from amnesia. Red finds him and mistakenly believes his sister knows the location of Lem's valuable claim. Red kidnaps the sister, unaware that he is being watched by Joe, who ultimately tracks them down to their hideout, leading to a tense confrontation.
