In a South American country, two oil explorers, Jeff and Dutch, lose everything when bandits destroy their well. Desperate, they take a risky job transporting nitroglycerin, but their employer tricks them out of payment. Jeff finds an old friend, Paco, who's now a wealthy tycoon, and takes a job managing his oil wells. However, Paco's wife, Marina, still has feelings for Jeff, leading to a tragic love triangle.
