Craig Golightly, a YouTube personality known for his Cinema Snob persona, creates an original film that tanks at the box office. He and the director, Neil Hall, embark on a 1970s-style road trip with two other online celebrities, a musician and a gamer dealing with controversy, to salvage their careers with the help of Craig's powerful TV executive father.
