A comet's blinding light sets the stage for a new world order as a specially designed plant species, engineered for dominance, rises to power.
A catastrophic event has left the Earth's population blind after a comet's debris permanently damaged their eyes. Bill Masen, who avoided the spectacle, finds himself in a desperate world, believing he's the only one who can see.
