Alex Rider

When Alex Rider learns about his uncle Ian's death while on duty as a British spy and not in a car accident like he was told, everything changes for this otherwise normal teen. He is approached by Alan Blunt, the head of MI6's shadowy offshoot called The Department, who reveals that Alex has been secretly trained since childhood to operate in dangerous espionage situations. Pressured into investigating his uncle's death and its connection to assassinations of two high-profile billionaires, Alex reluctantly assumes a new identity and goes undercover at a remote boarding school named Point Blanc located far above the snowline in the French Alps. Here, students are enrolled from troubled families of wealthy individuals who need help returning to normalcy. However, as Alex delves deeper, he uncovers that these students are actually part of a sinister plan orchestrated by Doctor Greif, and must risk his life to thwart this plot.
