70 years after the events of "Avatar: The Last Airbender", the story follows Korra, a passionate and fearless teenage girl from the Southern Water Tribe, as she seeks to master the final element, Air. She travels to Republic City, a steampunk metropolis where benders and non-benders coexist, but discovers a city plagued by crime and an anti-bending revolution. Under the guidance of Tenzin, Aang's son, Korra begins her airbending training while facing the dangers that surround her.
