Simon Doonan and his best friend Kyle, also known as Kylie, aspire to live among London's "beautiful people". Currently, Simon resides with his eccentric family, which includes a gin-loving mother, a blind and formerly drug-addicted aunt, a promiscuous sister, an Irish father who experiments with wine, and a grandmother who briefly transforms from an angel to a devil.
