Sarah Caroline Sinclair CBE, known professionally as Olivia Colman, is an English actress born on January 30, 1974. She has established herself as a talented performer in both comedic and dramatic roles across film and television.
Colman's early work includes notable performances in the crime-drama series Broadchurch, for which she received a British Academy Television Award for Best Actress, and the period-drama series The Crown, where she portrayed Queen Elizabeth II from 2019 to 2020 and received a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
