Jack, now back in the future, faces a double loss: the loss of Lena and Alice, who is now with Harris. On a new mission, the TCL chamber malfunctions, transporting Jack to a new dimension where he encounters a different version of the Trancers. This alternate reality is ruled by the evil Lord Calaban, but Jack joins the rebel group "Tunnel Rats" to help them overthrow the tyrant.
