Mrs. Topper's friend convinces her to divorce Cosmo due to his strange behavior with ghost Marion Kerby. Marion returns to help Cosmo, this time with a dog, to bring the couple back together and get her own ticket to heaven. However, their efforts are complicated by Mrs. Parkhurst's plans to finalize the divorce in France, with the help of a gold-digging French baron.
