Port Talbot is in a desperate struggle for survival as authoritarian forces, ICU, ruthlessly deplete the town's resources, disregarding the residents' well-being. A clash between a company man and suicide bomber is averted by the sudden appearance of a mysterious figure, later revealed as the Teacher (Michael Sheen). He becomes a beacon for the Resistance, drawing ICU's attention and setting the stage for a dramatic confrontation.
