David Tennant and Michael Sheen (playing themselves) were initially set to star in a production of 'Six Characters in Search of an Author' in the West End before the pandemic intervened. However, their director (Simon Evans - also playing himself) remains determined not to let this opportunity pass them by. He is focused on coaxing his stars into rehearsing over video calls. Despite facing numerous distractions and personal challenges, including home-schooling and ego clashes with fellow actors, they ultimately manage to read the first scene together.
