In the aftermath of the devastating 1923 Great Kanto earthquake, a group of female sumo wrestlers, including Tomoyo and Tamae, arrive in the Tokyo area. Amidst the chaos, Tetsu and Daijiro, members of an anarchist group, stumble upon the women and become captivated by their strength and resilience.
