A German raider sinks the HMS Aylesbury, leaving only two survivors who are rescued by the damaged Essen. As the Germans seek shelter to repair their ship, one of the survivors plots to hinder their efforts and give the Royal Navy a chance to track and destroy the enemy vessel.
