Literature professor Samuel Solomon is struggling to cope with the loss of his girlfriend and is haunted by a recurring nightmare of a woman's brutal murder. When the same woman is found dead in real life, matching the details of his dream, Samuel teams up with Rachel, who has also had the same dream, to uncover the identity of the victim and enter a terrifying world inspired by the mythological Muses.
