In the 1970s, a shocking discovery was made in the Mexican state of Guanajuato: a mass burial site containing the bodies of numerous murdered prostitutes. The investigation led to three sisters, known as "Las Poquianchis", who despite their devout religious practices, had been running brothels and luring vulnerable young women into prostitution with false promises, ultimately killing many of them.
