A travel agent, Kevin Manley, feels unfulfilled in his life and quits his job to travel to Alaska for his grandfather's will reading. However, he learns that he'll only inherit the estate if he completes the 1,000-mile Iditarod dog sled race. Kevin decides to attempt the race to prove himself as a "Manley" worthy of his family name. Along the way, he faces challenges and learns that someone is trying to prevent him from completing the race.
