Robert Alexander "Bob" Spiers, a renowned director, was born on September 27, 1945, and left an indelible mark on the world of television comedy until his passing on December 8, 2008.
Spiers' illustrious career was marked by his direction of the early series of the iconic British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, which aired from 1992 to 2001, as well as the musical comedy Spiceworld.
