In the remote African region of Baku, a team led by Johnny Weissmuller, including writer Ellen Martson, archery expert Bob Prentice, and trader Mark Santo, ventures into the unknown in search of an ancient civilization. However, they soon find themselves captured by the Moon Men, pygmy tribesmen who worship a blonde high priestess named Oma. In an attempt to save his companions, Johnny agrees to become Oma's high priest, but their fate is sealed when Santo is caught trying to steal the sacred diamonds, condemning them all to death.
