Zoltán Zana, professionally known as Ganxsta ("Döglégy") Zolee, is a Hungarian rapper, drummer, performer, and actor born on January 7, 1966, in Budapest.
As the son of actor Zana József and Kossuth-díjas actress Kassai Ilona, Zoltán Zana was born in Budapest on January 7, 1966. He attended the Kilián György Gimnázium in Angyalföld, now known as the Németh László Gimnázium. Between 1984 and 1987, Zoltán worked at Technoimpex, and later became unemployed.
In Görcsöny, a bridge bears his name. The mayor circumvented the ban on naming public spaces after living people by considering "Ganxsta Zolee" a stage name rather than a personal name.
Between 1988 and 1989, Zoltán was a member of the Őrjítő Gyógyhullám band. In 1989, he joined the Block band, and between 1989 and 1990, he played drums for the Dance band, simultaneously serving as a backup drummer for the four-piece rock formation Love, led by vocalist Szendrey Zsolt, with whom he later played in Sex Action.
As a member of the F.O. System dark rock band, Zoltán played the final tour as drummer before the band's legendary breakup.
The Sex Action band, which had declining record sales, changed its name to Action, switched styles, and began rapping. Zoltán became the frontman of the Ganxsta Zolee and Kartel gengszter hip-hop band in 1995, known for its outspoken lyrics.
In addition to his work with Sex Action, Zoltán is also a member of the KGB and Jack Jack bands.
Hobbies include ice hockey and soccer. He is a well-known fan of Boca Juniors, Atlético Madrid, and Újpest, although he once sang in a Ferencvárosi TC jersey, sparking questions about his allegiance.
Zoltán is married and has a daughter, Zoé, born in August 2007. His favorite dog breed is the Argentine Dog.
