Growing up, Allen excelled in youth football, winning numerous athletic awards throughout his high school years. He also explored other sports, such as wrestling and baseball, while developing an interest in tattooing at the age of 14. Allen's passion for tattooing led him to graduate from Grace M. Davis High School in Modesto, California.
After honing his craft, Allen opened his world-famous tattoo shop, Red Dragon Tattoo, in Modesto, California, which remains operational to this day. He also created and hosted "Wayne Allen's Ink Master Tattoo Show," attracting thousands of tattoo enthusiasts and renowned artists to the Central Valley of California.
In 2008, with his tattoo business established, Allen transitioned to stand-up comedy, performing at local clubs, including Modesto's Phat Kat. He soon gained traction, performing in various circuits throughout California's Central Valley and Bay Area, including the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, California.
Allen's success in stand-up comedy prompted him to relocate to Hollywood, California, in the spring of 2011, to pursue his passion for acting and film. He enrolled at Tony Barr's School For Film Actors and has since booked numerous roles, primarily as an antagonist.
Allen's acting credits include several independent films and his recent appearance alongside Charlie Hunnam and Marilyn Manson in the final season of FX's Sons Of Anarchy (2008). His menacing look and disturbing demeanor in the short film "Meth Monster" (2014) and his intimidating role as Skin Head Duke in the true story Monkey (2012) have garnered significant attention.
