Vladimir, a renowned stuntman and stunt director, was born in Leningrad, RSFSR, USSR, to a family of an engineer. He pursued his passion for physical education and graduated from the prestigious Leningrad Military Institute of Physical Education, earning the esteemed title of Master of Sports in pentathlon.
Since 1985, Vladimir has been a stalwart stuntman at the Lenfilm film studio, honing his skills and expertise in the art of stunt performance. In the mid-1990s, he ventured to the United States, where he further refined his craft, contributing to the success of numerous Hollywood blockbusters, including Air Force One, The Mask of Zorro, Soldier, The Tourist, and many more. Notably, he also took on supporting acting roles in some of these films.
Throughout his illustrious career, Vladimir has amassed an impressive portfolio of over 30 Hollywood films. Following his time in the United States, he returned to Russia in the mid-2000s and founded the StuntArt company, a leading stunt organization comprising talented professionals from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, and equipped with cutting-edge technology for creating movie stunts.
Vladimir's exceptional work has garnered widespread recognition, including nominations for the prestigious American TAURUS stunt award in the category "Best Stunts in a Foreign Film" for his work on the films "Nomad" (2007),"Paragraph 78" (2008),and "The Apocalypse Code" (2008). In 2010, he took home the coveted TAURUS award for his outstanding work on the film "Forbidden Reality" in the same category.
