Verna Hillie was a talented American film actress, born on May 5th, 1914. Her impressive acting career spanned many years, with one notable highlight being her roles opposite the legendary John Wayne in the 1934 films "The Star Packer" and "The Trail Beyond".
After her time in the spotlight, Hillie went on to serve as the U.S. representative for the renowned romance author Barbara Cartland. Unfortunately, her life was cut short when she passed away on October 3rd, 1997, at the age of 83, due to complications from a stroke.
