Toya Turner is a Jamaican-American individual who spent her formative years in the city of Chicago, Illinois, serving as a proud alumnus of the esteemed British American Drama Academy (BADA) at Oxford University.
Throughout her acting career, Toya has honed her skills by delving into the realm of Shakespearean classics, taking on the roles of Olivia in Twelfth Night, Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet, and Alonzo in The Tempest, further solidifying her proficiency in the art of acting.
In addition to her work on stage, Toya has also established a thriving voiceover career, collaborating with numerous prominent brands, including McDonald's, Dove, Auto Zone, Walmart, and Coca-Cola, among others.
Toya's early foray into the world of television began with a stint on the Sony Pictures Lifetime Movie America, alongside esteemed actresses Rosie O'Donnell and Ruby Dee. She continued to build her experience by starring in a series of independent films, before returning to television and showcasing her impressive improv skills on the hit NBC show "Chicago Fire" and Netflix's "Easy".
