Tony's roots in the film industry run deep, as he was born into a family of filmmakers, with his grandfather, father, mother, and brother all having a presence in the business. This inherent connection to the industry was evident from a young age, as Tony's passion for stunts began to take shape.
At just seventeen, having recently graduated from Mammoth Mtn. High School, Tony embarked on a journey to become a stuntman, starting his training in acrobatics at the renowned "Muscle Beach" in Santa Monica, California. Concurrently, he honed his stunt skills at a gym run by a prominent stunt coordinator.
Tony's big break came when he won an audition for a TV pilot centered around the daily life of a stuntman, marking the beginning of a steady career in the industry. His early success was followed by his first stint as a stunt coordinator in 1984, a role that ultimately led him to discover his true passion for coordinating stunts.
In an effort to expand his skill set and diversify his work, Tony began manufacturing his own stunt equipment, eventually establishing "Action Equipment International," a company that specializes in the manufacturing and rental of stunt equipment. His expertise in this area has allowed him to work closely with the California state fire marshal for five years, coordinating stunts for special effects seminars aimed at promoting safety on film sets.
Throughout his career, Tony has continued to push himself, striving to perfect his craft and stay ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving industry. His dedication to his work has earned him a reputation as a skilled and innovative stunt coordinator, and he remains an integral part of the film industry to this day.
