Teclebrhan, the youngest of three sons, was born in 1983 in Eritrea. He spent his childhood in Mössingen and, after completing his civilian service, enrolled in the international Schauspielakademie CreArte in Stuttgart, graduating in 2008.
He began his television career in 2009, taking on roles such as Peter Gesesse, a Swabian gas station owner, in the SWR series "Laible und Frisch", and Moel, a Rhineland drug dealer, in the ZDF crime series "Kommissar Stolberg".
