Tara Slone is an exceptional individual who has defied convention by successfully transitioning between multiple careers, leaving a lasting impact on the entertainment industry. Her professional journey began as the lead singer of the Juno-nominated rock group Joydrop, where she showcased her remarkable vocal talent. This experience was followed by her participation as a finalist on the popular CBS series Rockstar: INXS, further solidifying her reputation as a talented musician.

Early in her career, Tara made appearances in numerous films, television shows, and stage productions, demonstrating her versatility as a performer. In 2010, she took on the role of host at Breakfast Television Calgary, where she spent five years, and it was during this time that she discovered her passion for sports broadcasting. As a regular contributor to Sportsnet, Canada's leading sports channel, Tara covered various sports, including WHL and USports hockey, curling, soccer, and bobsleigh, further expanding her expertise in the field.

Tara's most notable achievement is co-hosting the groundbreaking NHL broadcast Rogers Hometown Hockey alongside Ron MacLean for eight years. She made history by becoming the first woman to host a national NHL show, earning widespread recognition and admiration.
