Takayuki Inagaki is a Japanese animator, anime director, and storyboard writer, hailing from the Gunma prefecture in Japan. With a strong foundation in the animation industry, he graduated from the prestigious Tokyo Animation School, also known as Tōkyō Animeta Gakuin.
Prior to embarking on his solo directing ventures, Inagaki honed his skills at Azeta Pictures, where he gained valuable experience and expertise. One of his most notable directorial works is the 2004 anime series Desert Punk, also known as Sunabouzu. This project allowed him to collaborate with a talented team of screenwriters, including Hiroshi Yamaguchi, Ritsuko Hayasaka, and Yuko Kakihara, who brought their unique perspectives and skills to the project.
