Susannah Fielding is an English actress who hails from Havant, Hampshire, where she grew up in a single-parent family. Her educational journey took her to Christ's Hospital school, a charity school in West Sussex, where she discovered her passion for acting.
Upon completing her A levels, Fielding went on to train at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating early to make her mark on the stage. Her early career was marked by a string of critically acclaimed performances in plays such as Tennessee Williams' 'The Rose Tattoo' alongside Zoe Wannamaker, 'Much Ado About Nothing' alongside Simon Russell-Beale, and 'Philistines' with Ruth Wilson and Phil Davies.
This impressive start set the tone for her highly acclaimed theatre career, which saw her star in productions like 'Wallander' alongside Kenneth Branagh, as well as numerous hit UK comedy series. She played the long-suffering girlfriend Chloe to Rafe Spall in 'Pete Versus Life', and had roles in 'Catastrophe', 'Lovesick', and 'Black Mirror'.
Fielding's talents soon took her across the Atlantic, where she landed the role of series regular Brooke, love interest to Joel McHale, in the CBS comedy series 'The Great Indoors'. She also starred alongside Stephen Fry in this US production.
Returning to the UK, Fielding shone as Jennie Gresham in the highly acclaimed comedy series 'This Time with Alan Partridge', starring alongside Steve Coogan in this mock magazine show. She also played leading roles in TV dramas 'Sticks and Stones' and 'Life', both written by award-winning writer Mike Bartlett.
