In the 1960s, she embarked on a cinematic journey, coinciding with the emergence of the nouvelle vague, a revolutionary film movement that transformed the industry. During this period, she collaborated with prominent Argentine directors of police noir cinema, including Sixto Pondal Ríos and Enrique Carreras, who entrusted her with leading roles in the films Los viciosos (1962) and Los hipócritas (1965).
In 1965, she worked alongside the renowned director Lucas Demare on Los guerrilleros, a film that marked a significant milestone in her career. Moreover, she began a fruitful collaboration with Emilio Vieyra, a pioneer of science fiction and cult cinema in Argentina, in the film Extraña invasión. Vieyra, impressed by her physical beauty, went on to feature her in a string of films, cementing her status as his preferred actress.
Together, they created a series of films that have since become cult classics, including The Curious Dr. Humpp (1966),La bestia desnuda (produced in 1967 and released in 1969),and Feast of Flesh (1967). The latter was followed by Blood of the Virgins (1968). These films, which have stood the test of time, have developed a devoted fan base among enthusiasts of science fiction and cult cinema.
