Susan Lynn Gordon, a talented American child actress, was born on July 27, 1949, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, to film director Bert I. Gordon and his wife Flora (Lang). She began her acting career at the tender age of eight, filling in for another young actress in the 1958 film "Attack of the Puppet People", directed by her father.
Gordon went on to appear in three additional films directed by her father, including "The Boy and the Pirates" (1960),"Tormented" (1960),and "Picture Mommy Dead" (1966),marking her final film appearance. In 1959, she showcased her singing talents in the semi-biographical film "The Five Pennies", playing the daughter of musician and composer Red Nichols, portrayed by Danny Kaye.
On television, Gordon made memorable appearances in various series, including "The Twilight Zone" in the episode "The Fugitive", where she played Jenny, a child with a leg brace who befriends an alien. Her other notable television roles included "Gunsmoke", "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", "My Three Sons", "The Danny Thomas Show", "Route 66", "Ben Casey", "77 Sunset Strip", and "The Donna Reed Show". On November 27, 1959, Gordon made a live appearance in the NBC Television broadcast of "Miracle on 34th Street".
