Stephen Gordon Hendry MBE, a Scottish retired professional snooker player and current commentator and pundit, was born on January 13, 1969. Throughout his illustrious career, Hendry claimed numerous accolades, including his first World Snooker Championship title in 1990 at the age of 21 years and 106 days, solidifying his position as the sport's youngest world champion, a record that still stands today.
Between 1990 and 1999, Hendry won an astonishing seven world titles, setting a new modern-era record that remained unbroken until Ronnie O'Sullivan equalled it in 2022.
