Stephanie, born in the quaint town of Alliance, Ohio, developed an early fascination with the horror genre, captivating her imagination with classic and contemporary horror films from the tender age of four. As she grew up, her passion for B-movie and horror films only intensified, fueling her childhood dreams of becoming an actress specializing in the horror genre.
However, growing up in Ohio, Steph faced a daunting reality - the scarcity of opportunities in the film industry. Undeterred, she redirected her aspirations, opting to pursue a career in veterinary medicine instead. Little did she know that this detour would ultimately serve as a stepping stone for her future endeavors.
Fast-forward to 1986, when at the tender age of fourteen, Steph made the bold decision to relocate to California, thereby setting her sights on realizing her childhood dream of becoming an actress. Enrolled in Oxnard High School, she distinguished herself as a standout student, earning a spot in the prestigious "Who's Who of American High School Students" for two consecutive years and graduating with high honors.
Steph's love for drama and the performing arts led her to take acting classes during her high school years, which she continued to nurture by majoring in Dramatic Arts during her college tenure. Following graduation, she supplemented her skills by taking professional acting classes to hone her craft.
The year 1992 marked a pivotal turning point in Steph's journey as she relocated to Los Angeles, immersing herself in various acting techniques under the guidance of esteemed coaches. It was in 1995 that she secured her breakthrough role in the film "Unnaturally Born Killers," playing the pivotal part of Jennifer Cartwright, thereby solidifying her status as a renowned "Scream Queen."
