Saïd M'Roumbaba, professionally known as Soprano, is a multifaceted French artist, born on January 14, 1979, who has made a significant impact in the music industry.
As a member of the renowned rap group Psy 4 de la Rime, Soprano has been an integral part of their creative process. However, he decided to embark on a solo career, releasing his debut album Puisqu'il Faut Vivre, which successfully charted on the Billboard European Top 100.
After a brief hiatus, Soprano returned in 2010 with his sophomore solo album La Colombe, featuring collaborations with esteemed artists such as Indila and Amadou & Mariam. Additionally, he continued to work with Psy 4 de la Rime, releasing their third album Les Cités d'Or in 2008 and their fourth album 4eme Dimension in April 2013.
On September 19, 2019, Soprano's impressive career was celebrated with the unveiling of his wax statue at the Musée Grévin. The statue is dressed in an outfit reminiscent of his iconic appearance at the NRJ Music Awards 2018, complete with a hat signed by De Bornarel, a Karl Lagerfeld jacket, and Aaron Jah Stone jewelry. In an interview with France 3, Soprano explained that the outfit was chosen because it perfectly encapsulates his career, from his time on The Voice to his success in the music industry.
