Fred Sheldon Greenfield, better known by his stage name Shecky Greene, was an accomplished American comedian born on April 8, 1926. Throughout his illustrious career, Greene earned widespread recognition for his electrifying nightclub performances in the entertainment capital of Las Vegas, Nevada, where he rose to fame as a headliner in the 1950s and 1960s.
In addition to his captivating stage presence, Greene also made a notable impact in the world of cinema, appearing in a diverse range of films, including the iconic Tony Rome, Mel Brooks' hilarious History of the World, Part I, and the beloved Splash.
