Shad Gregory Moss, professionally known as Lil' Bow Wow, is a multifaceted American artist, born on March 9, 1987. He made his rap debut at the tender age of 13 with the album Beware of Dog in 2000, which marked the beginning of his illustrious career as Lil' Bow Wow.
Following the success of his first album, Moss released his sophomore effort, Doggy Bag, in 2002, which solidified his position in the music industry. As his career progressed, he began to explore other creative outlets, including acting.
Moss made his film debut with a cameo appearance in All About the Benjamins in 2002. He soon landed his first lead role in Like Mike, also released in 2002. His subsequent film appearances included Johnson Family Vacation in 2004, Roll Bounce in 2005, and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2006, where he played a supporting role.
In the following years, Moss appeared in a variety of films, including Hurricane Season in 2009, Lottery Ticket in 2010, The Family Tree in 2011, Madea's Big Happy Family in 2011, Allegiance in 2012, and Scary Movie 5 in 2013.
In addition to his film work, Moss has also ventured into television. In 2015, he landed a supporting character role in the CSI spinoff series CSI: Cyber. Starting in 2017, he became a regular cast member on the reality series Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta.
In 2021, Moss reprised his role as Twinkie in the Fast & Furious sequel F9, marking a return to the franchise that first introduced him to audiences. Throughout his career, Moss has demonstrated his versatility as an artist, effortlessly transitioning between music, film, and television.
